Common questions
- SaaS products, internal tools, and infrastructure work. Typically: new product builds from scratch, containerisation and CI/CD for existing projects, or infrastructure overhauls. PHP and Node.js/TypeScript on the backend, Vue or React on the frontend.
- An MVP with basic infra is usually 4–8 weeks. A more complete product with CI/CD, observability, and production-ready deployment is 8–16 weeks. Scope drives the timeline — we agree on it before starting.
- No. I can help you set up a self-hosted k3s cluster on a VPS (much cheaper than managed cloud), or work with what you already have — your own servers, a managed cloud, or a hybrid.
- Yes. Everything is documented, GitOps-managed, and set up so you or another engineer can take over. I don't create lock-in.
- Both options work. Fixed-price for well-defined projects, hourly retainer for ongoing work or support. We discuss what makes more sense for your situation on the discovery call.
- Both. I've worked solo with founders and embedded with existing engineering teams to add infra/DevOps capabilities or accelerate delivery.
